Amy McDermott for raising an amazing £100 for The Wildlife Aid Foundation.  Amy organised a sponsored walk with her friend around Viginia Water, and a cake sale to raise this brilliant total.  Amy said she was really disappointed that we had to cancel our Open Day, so she hoped the money she had raised would go some way toward helping.  She & her brother can't wait until they are 16 so that they can start volunteering with us, but in the meatime they will continue to do their bit to look after our injured wildlife.  Thank you Amy, you are a star!!!
1st Bookham Oak Cub Pack who collected food and household cleaning items from our Spring Appeal list to donate at the recent talk given by Mike Berwick. Set a target of £60 worth of goods, they blew the top off of their totaliser and handed over more than 130 items with a combined value of more than double their target! The donation even included three washing up bowls, in fact everything but the kitchen sink.
Shannon Parker and her dedicated friends for organising another fundraising event at her local village hall. Despite the fact that her local press got the dates wrong, and so she didnt get the advertising she wanted, they still managed to raise over £100!!  Shannon you are a star!!
