Help us to hand rear a badger cub - £50

Help us meet the costs of caring for our badger cubs, which are by far the most expensive of our orphaned babies.

Our badgers grow rapidly from the moment we take them in, and they have an appetite to match! If they come to us as babies they need a special formula, before moving on to food such as honey and biscuits and weetabix. Finally they get to tinned dog food, with each badger chomping its way through at least 2 tins a day! They stay with us for 7 months, so the cost of every single badger soon mounts up.   

Your gift will help meet the cost of these magnificent animals, ensuring that we are able to continue caring for them each year before we release them back into the wild.

Emergency treatment for an injured fawn - £10

Help us to give a sick or injured fawn the treatment it needs.

The Wildlife Aid Foundation deals with around many wildlife emergencies involving young fawns every year, which often require urgent medical attention if they are to survive or be free of pain.

Your gift will help provide emergency treatment, vital medication and life saving injections.

Help an underweight hedgehog survive winter - £100

Help Britain’s hedgehogs over the cold winter months, with the gift of hibernation!

Here at the Wildlife Aid Foundation, we admit up to 100 hedgehogs each winter, which are either too young, too underweight or too weak, to survive hibernation.

Hedgehogs are an endangered species and face a very real threat of extinction in the near future if we do not do all that we can to protect them.

Your gift will ensure that a safe, warm, sheltered home is available for one more hedgehog, with straw, bedding and a heat lamp if needed. The lucky hedgehog that you help will receive a course of worming treatment and a winter’s worth of food to build up its strength, giving it a strong chance of survival over the winter, which it may not otherwise have had.
