Talks and Tours
Talks
As part of our commitment to educating and informing the public about the importance of our natural heritage, Wildlife Aid actively takes its message into the community by giving talks and presentations to schools, companies, groups and clubs around the country.
Our years of wildlife experience enables us to speak authoritively on all areas of wildlife care and rehabilitation. As well as being informative and educational, our speakers draw on their own personal experiences to make the presentations anecdotal and fun, with a fabulousPowerPoint presentation to make the talks visually stimulating.
If you are interested in booking a speaker, please contact us on 01372 377332 or use our online contact form.
Tours
Due to popular demand, we have taken the decision to open the doors of the Wildlife Aid Rehabilitation Centre to members of the public so they can see the work of the charity at first hand.
To keep the disruption to the animals to the absolute minimum, the numbers will be strictly limited to a maximum of 20 people per group. Each group will be given a tour of the working centre by one of our knowledgeable staff, who will also be able answer any questions that you may have, either about the Charity itself, or British wildlife in general.
The tours will take place during March, April, May, September and October. Regrettably, we are unable to run the tours during our peak summer months.
At the moment, we can only accept bookings from groups, or those who can organise their own group. Groups will be asked for a donation of £200.00 towards the cost of the running of the centre, which represents excellent value at £10.00 per head for the maximum number of people per group. Members qualify for a 50% discount per member.
