Animal Hospital
The brand new Wildlife Aid Animal Hospital
| The building of the new animal hospital
has been a big project, and an even bigger financial undertaking,
for us. We have already been given planning permission for
the animal hospital which will include an
intensive care and treatment unit, in addition to parking.
The new animal hospital will enable us to
care for many more animals. One of our main aims is to treat
every animal that needs our help, no matter what species.
The new animal hospital means it will be
much easier to live up to our promises.
Anybody who has visited our existing animal hospital
will know that the administration area is somewhat cramped.
The new animal hospital will allow us to
expand our offices, enabling us to deal with the membership
and fund raising activities efficiently. Without these activities,
our work could not continue. |
Costs of the animal hospital |
Building costs of the animal hospital
have been estimated at £80,000 if the work is undertaken
by a contractor. However, we hope to build most of the
animal hospital ourselves, reducing these costs by
up to 40%.
We are looking for donations towards the cost of building
materials for the animal hospital, or even
donations of building materials themselves. |
