Wildlife Hospital
Wildlife Aid - Wildlife Hospital
Wildlife Aid has an excellent hospital where every day we take sick, injured and orphaned wild animals to be treated. We have a large team of volunteers who are dedicated to rescue, care and rehabilitation of sick or injured wildlife.
At our wildlife hospital we believe that every wild animal that needs our help is entitled to it, no matter how insignificant that animal might appear. We realise at our wildlife hospital that each animal has its own role in the natural cycle.
We have dedicated vets at our wildlife hospital that give up their time to help these animals free of charge. At our wildlife hospital, we believe that no animal should be held in captivity, this is why our major aim is to return the wildlife back to the wild. We will treat and rehabilitate these animals until they are well enough to leave the wildlife hospital and be returned to the wild.
At our wildlife hospital we work extremely hard to treat the wildlife brought to us and through determination and a lot of care, we have seen cases where animals have recovered, where other people may have given up. However, sometimes at our wildlife hospital we see animals that have sustained injuries that are too severe for us to treat. In these situations we believe that the animal is entitled to the dignity of a peaceful and pain free death, in a warm and comfortable environment. This is only ever a last resort at our wildlife hospital.
In our wildlife hospital, we believe that we need to redress the balance between man and nature and play our part in preserving our heritage for future generations.
