Chunky pigeon saved from a chimney

With several species of bird choosing to next on the top of chimneys, we inevitably get called to rescue those who take a tumble down the pipe.

Our most recent example saw Simon called out to Raynes Park in London, where a family had been hearing a fluttering sound from inside their wall. Using an inspection camera and a bit of patience, Simon eventually managed to locate the trapped pigeon and quickly got it free.

Luckily, it was not injured or too thin and could be released straight back into the wild! Unfortunately things didn’t go quite so smoothly when their young son was asked to guess Simon’s age… 😉
