Deer rescue – WAF rescuers exhausted

Wildlife Aid were called to a school in Surrey to rescue a roe deer that was unable to get out of a playground. There was a lot of blood on the ground, so the team was worried the deer might be injured. When they finally caught him, they discovered that the blood was from his hooves and not from a fresh wound. They released him in a field nearby, after draining all the energy out of Lucy, the vet nurse!
