Dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of British wildlife
24hr Emergency Helpline - 01372 360404
If you have found an injured, sick, or orphaned wild animal, please, call the emergency helpline on 01372 360404. This line is available 24 hours a day, all year round.
We are a wildlife hospital, based in Leatherhead, Surrey, that deals with British wildlife, only. Please note that we are only able to attend animal rescues in Surrey and the surrounding areas, but can provide advice, over the phone, on any British wild animal emergency.
You can also find practical tips for ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’ when dealing with a wild animal, on our ‘Helping Wildlife’ hub: wildlifeaid.org.uk/caring-for-wildlife.
If you have rescued or need onsite support for a wildlife emergency and you are based outside our catchment area, then please refer to the directory of wildlife rescues throughout the UK helpwildlife.co.uk/map.
For domestic animals, please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999
The Wildlife Aid hospital is not open to the public, so please do not visit unless you are bringing in an injured animal. Thank you.
If you have brought a patient to the Wildlife Aid Foundation centre, you can contact us for updates, on www.wildlifeaid.org.uk/patientupdates. We endeavour to respond to initial patient update enquiries within five working days and appreciate your patience, as we are a very small team, and the hospital is extremely busy. Due to staff and volunteer shortages, updates may take up to 10 working days during the holiday period.
Alternatively, some of our patients’ recovery stories will be kept up-to-date on our Rescue Story pages. For more info, please visit here.
