• Wildlife Advice Helpline

Dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of British wildlife

If you have found a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, please visit our ‘Helping Wildlife’ hub here.

If you need further advice, please call the Emergency Helpline - 01372 360404.

This is answered by our reception team from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. An out of hours volunteer answers the calls outside of these hours.

For a small animal emergency outside of these hours, please take the patient to your local out of hours vet. They have a duty of care to help and cannot charge you.

We are a wildlife hospital, based in Leatherhead, Surrey, that deals with British wildlife, only. Please note that we are only able to attend animal rescues in Surrey and the surrounding areas, but can provide advice, for most British wild animal emergencies.

If you are based outside our catchment area, then please refer to a directory of wildlife rescues throughout the UK helpwildlife.co.uk/map.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

For domestic animals, please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999.

The Wildlife Aid hospital is not open to the public, so please do not visit unless you are bringing in an injured animal. Thank you.

PATIENT UPDATES

If you have brought a patient to the hospital, you can request an update, at www.wildlifeaid.org.uk/patientupdates. We endeavour to respond to initial patient update enquiries within ten working days and appreciate your patience, as we are a very small team, and the hospital is extremely busy.

Alternatively, some of our patients’ recovery stories will be kept up-to-date on our Rescue Story pages. For more info, please visit here.
