Frozen red kite nursed back to health

Over the last few years, we have started to see a lot more red kites at Wildlife Aid. This one was rushed to us from a local vet practice after being found grounded and covered in ice. It was very cold and would not have survived the night.

Luckily, it arrived just in time and Simon was able to carefully nurse it back to health with some warmth and food. Before long, it was back to full health and was ready to be set free!
