GoPro: Cute baby fox saved from garden netting

As we reach the end of 2017, it won’t be too long before we start to hit our orphan season once again.  Fox cubs are a common patient at this time of year and we will be seeing this type of rescue all-too-frequently in the near future.

Although Simon does his best to attend every rescue, sometimes he is busy and another member of our team is called instead.

When this little fox cub got trapped in football netting, WAF cameraman, Lawrie and volunteer, Connor raced to the scene. The young fox was badly tangled and they had to cut through several strands of netting to get her free.

Luckily, she was free of constriction wounds and, after being checked over, she was released back into the wild to be with her family!
