Hungry Jay Wedged in Bird Feeder!

We get some unusual rescues at Wildlife Aid, and this jay was no exception; it was brought into our centre after becoming wedged in a bird feeder!

Armed with his trusty cutters, Simon came to its aid and quickly freed it from its metal prison. After a short stay in the hospital to treat a minor wing wound, it was moved into our large outdoor aviary and is now awaiting release.
