Here at the Wildlife Aid Foundation we will always try to help any injured animal that is brought in to us, no matter how severe the damage; if it can be fixed, we will try! Currently, we do not have the means to carry out certain, more specialist operations on site, but, fortunately, we are lucky enough to have specialist vets who are prepared to perform such operations for us at a lower cost, which is fantastic! Nonetheless, these surgeries still involve notable funds and, having had to cancel our biggest fundraiser of the year, we are struggling to generate the necessary monies.
We have recently had many animals brought in to us in need of specialist orthopaedic surgery. We are desperately trying to raise the funds necessary to pay for these incredibly expensive procedures.
Our recent patients include a Canada goose with a broken wing and leg, a young little owl with a broken leg, a magpie with ‘scissor beak’ and a buzzard with a broken wing. We have previously had numerous badgers and foxes requiring complex surgeries and, no doubt, there will be more in the near future!
If you could help us by donating any amount you can towards the cost of these life-saving operations, we would be extremely grateful!
