My Wild Life

WAF founder Simon Cowell hasn’t always been an influential animal rescuer. After school he ended up as a wealthy, hard-living commodities trader who raced cars, gambled in casinos and flew planes. When the stresses of his job took their toll, Simon turned to nature and set up a small wildlife sanctuary in the grounds of his home. When he finally left his job in the City, his life began. His small hobby became Wildlife Aid.

Simon’s roller coaster life, from the boardrooms of London to the wilds of Surrey via a long-running television series and many globe-trotting adventures, has been turned into a book. Written by the man himself, ‘My Wild Life’ covers the full journey so far, the rough and the smooth, and shows that it is possible to be the change you want to see in the world.

Buckle up for a wild ride with a genuine wildlife saviour: a Gerald Durrell for the 21st Century.

*Simon is undergoing chemotherapy and not always feeling up to being in the office. He is signing books when he can, and we are posting them out to you as quickly as we’re able. Signed copies may take significantly longer to arrive and we CANNOT guarantee delivery in time for Christmas*

By purchasing an item from the shop, you help Wildlife Aid rescue injured or sick animals from foxes to hedgehogs and provide them with around the clock care, food and shelter. Rescued animals will often need specialist drugs, x-rays and sometimes surgery. Our shop enables you to help towards the costs of running the hospital.

*Please note that the UK is currently experiencing postal strikes, so your copy may take longer to arrive than usual. We also advise that there may be potential customs charges for overseas deliveries.

Delivery note

For UK orders, we aim to deliver your item within 5-7 working days. International orders may take significantly longer. Please be patient, if your order is delayed it may be because our volunteers are busy helping wildlife in need.
