Rescue

Arriving collapsed and barely responsive, this female fox cub was barely clinging on to life. With a low body temperature, severe dehydration and a high parasite burden, she needed urgent care if she were to survive.

Rehabilitation

Working quickly, our vet team fitted her with an IV catheter before using our new syringe driver (the one funded through a JustGiving campaign) to start her on a gentle course of fluid therapy and warming.

Amazingly, despite all the odds she slowly started to come back to us, and now you would never know just how collapsed she was!

Brighter, much more stable and now on a course of anti-parasitic treatment, she is making fantastic progress! Thank you all so much for your generosity in helping us fund such a vital piece of equipment. Your support really does make a huge difference! 🦊
