Rescued tawny owls back to the wild

Releases are the best part of the job and it’s always an incredible sight to see an animal that would otherwise have died free to live life once again.

These tawny owls arrived at the centre as orphans and, after months of rehabilitation, the time had finally come for them to return to the wild. After taking them to a special release site, Simon opened the doors and the young owls took to the skies once more.

This video is dedicated to Ossie, who particularly loved owls.
