Rescue

Watching an animal recover from the brink of death makes everything worth it, and this little fox has had an incredible transformation 🦊

When Steve, one of our rescuers, first brought him in to the centre, there couldn't have been too much more wrong. Collapsed, soaking wet, hypothermic, ataxic (making uncoordinated movements) and (according to blood tests) on the edge of starvation, it was over to Marco to pull him back from the brink of death...

Rehabilitation

Incredibly, Marco defied all the odds and, after days of fluid therapy, gentle warming, food

and intense treatment, we're amazed to say that he has now come back to
us. He is still a little wobbly, but is improving by the day and we have
everything crossed for a full recovery!

Release

With both movement and behaviour back to normal after just a week of care, it will only be a few days before this handsome chap can head back to chasing the ladies!
