Rescue

We've seen a lot of foxes over the past few weeks here at Wildlife Aid, and a surprising number of them have come in with almost the same condition - a severe ear infection.

Causing head tilts and severe neurological-type behaviours, foxes in this state can be highly unpredictable and are a little harder to safely contain!

Rehabilitation

Whilst the infection was clear to see, an examination found that the eardrum was still intact and the fox has now started a course of both topical and injectable medications.

We are still very much in the early days of recovery and his prognosis is still guarded, but we will do all we can to get him fit and well again.
