Rescue
Although the process is well underway to ban glue traps in the UK, we are still seeing numerous animals fall victim to these disgraceful contraptions! This female sparrow arrived, covered from neck to tail in the sticky substance.
Rehabilitation
It took our team A LOT of time to remove the bulk of the glue and the paper it was stuck to. Even then, it still took numerous treatments, over several days, to finally get her feathers clean.
Release
We are very happy to say that this very lucky bird is is now free once more, flying in the wild!
