Glue Trap Strikes Again!

Updated 2 years ago

Rescue

Over the past few weeks, we have seen a rise in cases just like this, where a bird (or other animal) is 'accidentally' caught in a glue trap designed for insects or rodents.

These traps are completely indiscriminate and result in both significant suffering and a horrible death for anything unlucky enough to get stuck. Whilst we have developed an efficient way to remove glue from skin or feathers, this process takes time, and some birds are just unable to cope with the stress (if they haven't injured themselves trying to escape).

These traps are now in the process if being banned here in the UK but, until that happens, PLEASE stop using them. NOTHING deserves to die like this.
