Rescue

These two mice were the victim of something that, sadly, we see far too much of - glue traps.

Although removed from the trap itself, both arrived coated from head to tail in the sticky residue, with ears, eyes, mouths and nostrils in constant danger of being glued shut.

Rehabilitation

Using a combination of olive oil, detergent and warm water, our vet team spent a lot time gently removing as much of the glue as possible before drying the poor creatures off in one off our incubators.

This process was repeated daily, until all of the glue had been removed.

Release

After a short stint of rehabilitation at the centre, luckily, they were both released back to the wild once again.
