Rescue

The world fastest bird needs a helping hand!

This young peregrine falcon may be capable of hitting more than 200mph in a dive, but that's not quite the case when you've gorged yourself on food first!

Found grounded and being mobbed by corvids, he was quickly rushed into the centre for a check-up.

Rehabilitation

Although our vet team checked every inch of the bird for damage, the truth was a little less worrying - she had simply eaten too much to fly!

With her meal given time to digest, we are just waiting for a final flight test before she can return to the skies!
