Rescue

When we start receiving calls from Highways England and Surrey Police, we know it’s that time of year when swan parents are beginning to 'kick' their youngsters out!

There’s nothing quite like a morning callout to rescue a juvenile swan from the M25 hard shoulder…

Lawrie and Simon have dealt with calls like this for quite a few years and are pretty much experts on M25 extractions now.

Release

Luckily the juvenile swan was in perfect health and simply needed to be moved to a new location. We know of a nearby swan colony with plenty of youngsters, so, the swan was quickly off to its new home!
