Your adoption pack will contain:
- A personalised Certificate of Adoption
- A fact sheet about hedgehogs, along with some information about the Wildlife Aid Foundation
- Your choice of 2 items, from a furry toy (the same animal as the adoption), stationery pack or special 10th Anniversary edition of “The Owl with the Golden Heart” paperback
- A six month follow up email (we will require an email address for the Gift Recipient, unless you specify they would prefer a hard copy).
Please read before you complete the form:
If you choose a ‘Start Date’ in the future we will hold your adoption and send it out for that date. If you choose ‘ASAP’ we will send out the pack straight away. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery, or 10 working days during peak season.
You can adopt an animal for yourself, or for someone else (“Gift Recipient”).
When ordering your adoption, you can choose to have the initial pack either sent to yourself, or to the Gift Recipient, but we would like to send the six month follow up letter directly to the Gift Recipient so please make sure you include their email address in the Gift Recipient fields.
Adoptions are for a period of one year from the date you choose to start.
Your purchase will help with the costs of looking after orphaned or injured hedgehogs at the hospital.
Our hope is to help rehabilitate injured hedgehogs and then release them into the wild. The video below shows three orphan baby hogs who were in our care.
Hedgehog adoptions are just £30.00 per year and this money is providing us with the security of knowing that we can keep the hospital running all year round. After 6 months you will receive an email giving you a year-round summary of the species you have adopted, letting you know about the sort of behaviours and habits hedgehogs would display in the wild. We will then email you at the end of the year, offering you the opportunity to renew your adoption, or to take out a brand new adoption.
Don’t forget you can adopt for yourself or as a gift for someone else, so please start the adoption process today.
