Tiny badger cub rescued!

Every year during our ‘orphan season’, we have hundreds of orphaned foxes, badgers, hedgehogs, squirrels, birds and more rushed in to the centre. Although most of these are found by the public, we work with the Police, RSPCA and other wildlife hospitals throughout out catchment area to help as many animals as we can!

Earlier this year, Louis, an RSPCA inspector, brought this this tiny badger cub in to the centre after finding it abandoned in the middle of a farm track. Luckily it was not injured but sadly it could not be returned to the wild…

It will remain with our other badger cubs and will return to the wild as soon as it is old enough for release!
